Honestly, To be fair, personally, kind of feels like yeah, same boat here. “Nothing changed” is always the part that makes me laugh a little, because half the time Google just decides to reshuffle the deck and call it a day. 30% sucks, but if it’s bouncing old posts in and out, I’d lean volatility over some clean technical issue too. Still, I’d check if a plugin/theme update quietly did something stupid — that’s burned me before. Fair enough.

Honestly, yeah, I’m seeing the same kind of nonsense. Honestly I don’t trust “nothing changed” anymore either — Google can still reshuffle stuff just because it feels like it. If it’s only been a few days I’d just sit on it and not start ripping the site apart yet. GSC bouncing around like that usually makes the whole thing look worse than it is.

Realistically, from what I’ve seen, yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve had a dumb little wave of them the last few days too, mostly the “looks kinda human if you squint” crap. The annoying part is exactly what crawl_void said — the obvious junk is whatever, but the half-decent ones waste time because you actually stop and check the profile/post before deleting it. Feels like they’re trying a bit harder than usual, or maybe the filters are just getting bypassed more often. Either way, same old garbage, just slightly less stupid.

I mean, Yeah, same here. Not a flood, just enough to be annoying as hell. The “almost human” junk is the part that pisses me off. The obvious crap gets deleted in two seconds, but the slightly cleaned-up stuff makes you stop and actually look at it, which is exactly what they want I guess. Feels like they’re trying a few different templates again. Same old garbage, just with a different coat of paint. That’s been my experience anyway.

Yeah, that’s been happening to me too, and it’s hard not to side-eye it. The annoying part is the timing always looks suspicious as hell. You clean stuff up, Google finally notices, then traffic does this stupid little dip like it’s “re-evaluating” the page or whatever. Sometimes it bounces back, sometimes it never really does. That’s the part people hand-wave away way too easily. And Den’s not wrong that sometimes the page was already weak, but come on — Google definitely has this habit of making a “fix” look like the cause of the problem when it’s really…

Yeah, same here. It feels way more “whatever page Google feels like grabbing today” than any actual understanding. I’ve had pages that should be the obvious citation just get ignored, then some thin junk page gets pulled in instead. So yeah, I’m leaning retrieval/selection being flaky, not just your sites.

I mean, in my opinion, i mean, yeah, that sounds like the usual update nonsense. 30% isn’t tiny, but if the pages are still indexing and it’s just rankings bouncing around, I’d be way more suspicious of reweighting than some clean “site got hit” explanation. Google loves doing that thing where it acts like it found religion for a week and then changes its mind again. I’d still check logs / GSC for anything dumb, but honestly half the time it’s just volatility and not some grand technical issue.

Yeah, I’m not buying the “just wait a few days” thing every time, but this does sound like the usual Google wobble. Impressions with dead clicks usually means the result’s getting shown and then ignored, which is… fun.

Honestly, to be fair, I mean, yeah, I’m seeing that too. Not even a clean “traffic down” thing, just the annoying half-broken version where GSC looks sorta fine and then leads are trash. Honestly feels like one of those stupid search-side shifts again. Not saying every site is innocent, but when a few unrelated ones wobble at the same time, I stop buying the “must be your content bro” lecture.

Kind of feels like in my opinion, yeah, I’d still blame the migration first. GSC getting weird is basically background noise at this point, but if leads dropped and crawl’s lagging, that’s not “just Google being Google” in my experience.

Honestly, i mean, Yeah, same here. Not sitewide, just a few pages doing that annoying up/down nonsense like Google can’t make up its mind for 48 hours.

I mean, Yeah, I’m seeing the same kind of dumb spike on a couple sites. Usually it’s not “bots got smarter,” it’s some hole got wider and they just pile in.

To be fair, Yeah, absolutely. It’s been the same crap on a couple of my sites too — nothing clever, just endless junk accounts and those stupid “first post” spam dumps. What’s annoying is the patterns are so lazy now you’d think filtering would catch it all, but nope, some of it still slips through for no good reason. Google’s useless as usual on this stuff too, if you go digging for answers it’s all the same recycled nonsense.

To be fair, yeah, I’m with Mason on this one more than the “Google being random” angle. That recovery-then-crash pattern usually isn’t nothing. I’ve had sites do that little fake bounce and then get shoved back down once they get reprocessed. Super annoying becouse it tricks you into thinking, ok maybe it’s coming back… then nope. If both sites got hit around the same time, I’d be looking at what they share first. Same kind of AI base, same page structure, same internal linking, same “edited enough” feel. That’s the stuff Google seems to sniff out way faster lately. And honestly, the whole “light human edits” thing hasn’t been saving much for me either if the pages are still basically the same underneath. That said, I wouldn’t completely ignore sitewide trust / crawl weirdness either. Google’s been doing that stupid thing where a site looks dead in GSC for a bit and you can’t tell if it’s a content issue or just one of their usual re-evals. If I were betting, though, I’d bet on the shared footprint before anything else. That’s usually where the pain starts. Honestly,

Honestly, yeah, that’s the nasty part — when the trash survives and the pages that actually earn get hammered, it usually isn’t “just noise.” I’d be looking at internal links and whether Google’s basically decided the site’s value is somewhere…
