Well, honestly, yeah, same here. It’s been weirdly fragile lately, especially anything touching caching/minify/editor stuff. I had one site where a totally “minor” update broke the block editor until I killed the cache plugin and cleared everything twice. Fun times.
Honestly, i mean, yeah, way more than I’d like lately. It’s never the plugin everyone blames first either. Half the time it’s some stupid little interaction after an update and you don’t even notice until cache gets cleared or cron runs and everything starts acting haunted. The “just disable them one by one” advice always gets old too. Like sure, if I had nothing else to do with my life maybe.
To be fair, Yep, seeing it too. Rankings aren’t matching the clicks at all, which is always a lovely little Google surprise. Well, I’d check actual landing page traffic before trusting GSC too much right now I mean,. Mine’s been acting weird enough that I don’t really know what’s real and what’s just chart nonsense. Could be wrong though.
Yeah, caching is usually the first thing I’d blame too, annoying as that is. I’ve had “plugin conflict” stuff turn out to be some busted cache/object cache nonsense way more often than the plugin everyone wants to rip out.
Yeah, I’m seeing it too. Not just you. Mine always seems to come in these stupid little bursts like somebody flipped a switch and forgot to turn it off. Same junk, same weird timing, same garbage “member” names. I wouldn’t assume your forum got singled out unless it keeps doing this for a while.
Yeah, I’m seeing the same garbage. It’s like Google just throws a dart now — some bland page gets picked up fast and something normal sits there doing nothing for days. And no, I don’t think it’s always “content quality” either. I’ve had decent pages hang while absolute trash gets crawled, so… yeah, real helpful system there.
I mean, yep, seeing it too. Crawl means basically nothing for me lately unless it’s some random fast-lane page for no reason. And the “just make it better” advice is so useless at this point. If Google wants to sit on a page for 5 days while indexing some trash parasite page in 20 minutes, that’s not a content quality lesson, that’s just Google being flaky Well,.
