Well, yeah, same old circus. “Quality means nothing” is a bit dramatic, but honestly I get why people say it when a site gets kneecapped overnight and nothing obvious changed. Half the time it’s some dumb shuffle and Google just decides your decent pages are now optional. Obviously. At least lately.

Yeah, “quality means nothing” is a bit much, but I get the mood. If it was truly overnight and nothing changed, I’d be looking at shuffle/deval too, not ripping the site apart like some SEO priest doing a cleansing ritual. Google’s been yanking stuff around for no reason all over the place lately.

Yeah, same. It’s not some tiny blip anymore. I’ve got a couple pages that used to get the easy click and now it’s like Google just keeps the user in its little bubble. Rankings look “fine” on… Right…

Yeah, I’m not buying “just the host” on this one either. Last time I had that combo it was some stupid optimizer plugin doing its own thing after an update and making the admin crawl like it was on dial-up. Rolled it back and it was *better*, but still janky until I killed the cache everywhere and rebuilt it. If Den’s theory is right, cool, but half the time it’s the usual “one plugin updated and three others start acting possessed” mess. Personally,

Interesting take. Right… Yeah, same here. Feels like one of those “nothing’s wrong, it’ll sort itself out” Google phases, which is always fun when you’ve got clients staring at Search Console like it’s gonna confess something.

Yeah, it’s been pretty trashy lately. Feels like the system’s picking citations with a dartboard half the time. I’m not convinced it’s “understanding” anything so much as just latching onto whatever page looks easiest to chew on. Which is… reassuring, in the usual Google way.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same on my end. Not a full-on tsunami or anything, just enough dumb registrations to make you sigh and start wondering what changed. The annoying part is exactly that “almost human” crap. Makes you waste a minute before you bin it.

To be fair, yeah, same here. New pages feel like they’re getting tossed into the “maybe later” pile for no obvious reason. And before someone chimes in with the usual “just improve internal linking” sermon… yeah, tried that, didn’t magically fix anything. Google’s been weird about fresh stuff for a while now.

Sure. Yeah, same here. It’s not even a clean drop, which is the annoying part — just this constant SERP wobble where your page’s there, then it’s buried under AI mush, then some random garbage outranks it for no good reason. Affiliate stuff does seem to get hit harder, or maybe it just *shows* the damage more because those pages live and die on clicks. Google’s been doing that lovely thing where it pretends the result is “helpful” while tanking the actual page people wanted. Real genius stuff. I’m not ready to call it a full on collapse yet, but it’s definitely not normal. And yeah, tracking it is a pain because one day’s data means basically nothing now.

Sure. Yeah, same. It’s not even the drop that annoys me, it’s the stupid SERP churn around it. One day a page is there, next day it’s shoved under AI garbage and some random junk result, then it pops back like nothing happened. Google really does love making basic traffic look like a coin flip.

I mean, yeah, I’m seeing it too. Feels like the index is just doing whatever it wants lately, which is always a great sign, obviously.

Okay then. Honestly, yeah, that slow bleed is the worst part. If it was a clean tank you could at least point at *something*, but this half-dead crawl/index crap just drags on and makes everyone guess. I’ve seen it where one folder starts getting ignored first and then the rest follows a week or two later. And of course Search Console acts like it’s all fine until it isn’t. Real helpful, thanks Google.

Honestly, yeah, I’m seeing it too, and honestly it’s getting old. I’ve had brand new posts sit there doing absolutely nothing while some random old junk page gets crawled again for no reason. Search Console just feels like window dressing half the time now. Internal links used to at least *seem* like they mattered more. Lately it’s like Google just shrugs unless the page is already “important” in its little head. Which is great, because that’s exactly what you want from a search engine, right?. Could be wrong tho.

Okay then. Yeah, it’s been ugly here too. Same dumb pattern — a bunch of fresh accounts, garbage posts, then they vanish like they did something useful. Honestly I’m more annoyed that it’s still this easy in 2026 or whatever year we’re pretending this is. You’d think the bot people would at least try to be less blatant, but nope, same trash as always.

Right… Interesting take. Yeah, same old song and dance. The “brief recovery then cliff dive” thing always feels like Google messing with the lights for a second before pulling the plug again. I’d be side-eyeing the AI/edit mix too. “Light human edits” has been getting less and less magical for me lately, which is a fun sentence to say out loud, apparently.
