Kind of feels like realistically, honestly, yeah, I’ve seen that too. Not even a gradual slide, just one day it’s fine and then it’s like Google got bored of it. If it’s a couple domains at once, I’d be side-eyeing the host / crawl path before anything else. Weird 3xx stuff, slow TTFB, plugin junk, even a dumb cache issue can make expireds look “dead” real fast. And honestly expireds do feel way more fragile lately. I wouldn’t be shocked if Google’s just tightening the screws on them again.

Kind of feels like yeah, I’d still lean update volatility before “you broke something.” If Search Console is bouncing too, that usually isn’t a plugin suddenly deciding to ruin your week. That said, I’d still check the boring WordPress stuff once — cache plugin, security plugin, theme auto-updates, and any weird noindex/robots nonsense. WordPress does love quietly “helping” in the worst possible way. If nothing changed on your end, I wouldn’t panic yet. I’ve seen…

Kind of feels like ugh, yeah, that sounds like the usual Google nonsense to me. If you didn’t touch anything and Search Console is bouncing too, I’d be looking at update volatility before I’d blame a plugin. I’ve had a couple posts tank for a few days and then act normal again like nothing happened, which is honestly infuriating. Still, I’d do one boring pass for anything that auto-updated in the background — cache plugin, security plugin, theme, that kind of stuff. WordPress loves “helping” when you don’t ask. But if everything realy is unchanged, I wouldn’t spiral too hard yet.

Yeah, same here honestly. It’s like Google gives them a little peek and then just shoves them off a cliff a few days later. I don’t think there’s much of a “fix” if the host has no real trust behind it. And I’m so tired of the “just make better content” replies, like… okay, and? It still gets buried.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same vibe here and it’s honestly so annoying. Well, My money pages got whacked harder too, but I’m not convinced it’s just “the update” and nothing else — sometimes it’s the page layout or some plugin junk slowing stuff down and hurting CTR a bit more than people think. I’m leaving mine alone for now though, cause every time I start fiddling after a drop I seem to make it worse 🙃

I mean, yep, seeing the same thing on one of my affiliate sites. Rankings are basically flat, but clicks just… vanished a bit. Super annoying. Feels like Google’s shuffling the SERP around again and stuffing in more junk above the fold. I’d check Search Console for query-level drops too, not just page positions, cause sometimes it’s the snippet getting ignored and not the rank itself.

Yeah, it’s been brutal lately. I’ve had a couple parasite pages index and then just… vanish a few days later, like Google was never even interested. Honestly I don’t think there’s some magic fix if the host isn’t already trusted. “Better content” gets thrown around way too much on here, like that’s gonna save a page sitting on a weak platform.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same here. One site of mine got smacked a bit and I didn’t change a thing either, which is the annoying part. I’m not even convinced it’s always “something u did” anymore. Sometimes Google just moves stuff around and we’re all sitting here staring at Search Console like idiots.

Yeah, I’ve seen that too, and it’s usually not just “the content” overnight. If a couple expireds tanked at the same time, I’d be looking at crawl behavior first — server response times, weird 3xx chains, robots changes, even a plugin update if it’s on WordPress. I’ve had one site look fine in Search Console and still basically get choked cause the host was having little hiccups every few hours. Also, expireds do feel way more fragile lately. Like they can sit…

Yeah, I’m not convinced it’s always “Google being weird” either — sometimes it *is* something on the site side, just not the obvious stuff people look at first. If the whole thing tanked overnight though, I’d be checking titles/snippets and any plugin/theme nonsense before blaming content quality. WordPress can get messy fast with one bad update or some weird SEO plugin rewrite.

I mean, yeah, it’s been a mess for me too. I don’t buy the “just better content” line either when random junk is getting picked up faster than clean pages. It feels more like Google’s got some weird crawl priority thing going on and normal sites are just stuck in the wrong bucket. I’ve had a couple pages sit…

Yeah, I’m seeing it on one of mine too, and it’s annoying as hell. Not a huge ranking drop, just that weird clicks-are-down-but-positions-look-normal thing. I’d check GSC before freaking out, and if you’ve got any plugin changes or a cache/CDN thing going on, I’d look there too because WordPress loves to randomly make stuff messy for no reason.

Yeah, I’m seeing a dip too, and it’s driving me nuts. GSC looks “fine” enough but clicks are definitely softer this week, especially on a couple affiliate pages that usually don’t move like that. Could be Google, could be crappy SERP changes, could be something dumb on our side too — I’m not ruling anything out yet.

To be fair, yep, same here and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve got one older site where a normal page just sat there forever, and then some random thin page got indexed in like a day. Makes zero sense. I keep thinking maybe it’s something on my end, but then it happens across different sites so… yeah, feels like Google’s just being weird again. Honestly I’d stop trusting the “submitted” thing too much right now. It seems like it’s picking stuff on its own, and not in a way that makes any actual sense.

Kind of feels like from what I’ve seen, yeah, I’m seeing it too, and it’s honestly exhausting. Mine’s doing that stupid little bounce thing where it looks fine for a day and then just drops for no reason. I’m not touching anything right now either because every time I do, it gets worse. Honestly,
