ParticipantSeriously, my main affiliate site has been bouncing all over the place for the last few days. One keyword jumps up, then tanks, then comes back like nothing happened. From my experience, Same old garbage, honestly. I’m seeing junk pages get indexed faster than legit money pages too, which is just classic Google at this point. Anyone else getting this or is it just my sites getting dragged around again?

ParticipantYeah, same here. Last few days have been a mess — a couple pages bounce 3-5 spots like they can’t make up their mind, then some random garbage URL gets a boost for no reason. Feels like one of those half-baked refreshes where nothing settles properly. I’m not even touching much right now becouse it’s pointless until it chills out. Personally,

ParticipantIn my opinion, That’s not really accurate. yeah, it’s not just you. I’m seeing the same stupid bounce on a couple money pages — up 2 spots, down 4, then back like nothing happened. And the junk URL thing I could be wrong, but? Classic. Google’ll crawl some trash and act like it found gold while your actual page sits there getting treated like an afterthought. Makes zero sense unless they’re just shuffling stuff around and watching clicks. I wouldn’t chase it too hard right now. Last time I started tweaking titles and internal links during one of these swings, it just made the whole thing noisier. Let it settle a bit before you start ripping pages apart. From what I see,

meloncrashParticipantYeah, I’m seeing the same kind of nonsense. A couple of my pages are doing that weird up/down thing and then some thin junk post gets a little love for no reason, which is honestly so annoying Honestly,. I’m not touching much right now either, because every time I mess with titles or internal links during one of these swings it seems to get worse. That’s been my experience anyway.

meloncrashParticipantI mean, yep, same here. It’s like nothing is actually *stable* right now, which is the annoying part. I’ve got one money page that’ll pop up, then slide back down a few spots, then act normal again the next day. And of course the random fluff post is the one Google seems obsessed with for no reason 🙄 I’m not touching titles or links much either. Every time I’ve tried to “fix” stuff during one of these swings, it just makes the whole thing messier. Could be update junk, could be crawl weirdness, who knows anymore.

ParticipantHonestly, from what I understand, yeah, same garbage here. Not even doing anything major and it’s still bouncing like a drunk elevator. And the junk pages getting love first? Yeah, that part’s not new, that’s just Google being Google. I’d stop fiddling with titles for a bit unless you enjoy making it worse. From what I see, In my opinion,

ParticipantPersonally, Yeah, seeing the same crap here. One of my money pages is doing that exact up/down nonsense and it’s driving me nuts. I’m not touching much either tbh, last time I started “fixing” stuff during a wobble it just made things worse.

ParticipantHonestly, yeah, same here. It’s like Google can’t sit still for 5 minutes lately. I’m seeing one page bounce around 2-3 spots and then just randomly snap back, which is super annoying because it makes no sense. And yeah, the junk URLs getting picked up first is classic bullshit. I wouldn’t start changing a bunch of stuff right now either. That usually just turns a wobble into a mess.

meloncrashParticipantKind of feels like from what I’ve seen, yeah, I’m seeing it too, and it’s honestly exhausting. Mine’s doing that stupid little bounce thing where it looks fine for a day and then just drops for no reason. I’m not touching anything right now either because every time I do, it gets worse. Honestly,

ParticipantYeah, I’m seeing it too, but I don’t think it’s just “random Google chaos” either. Feels like some pages are getting tested hard and then dumped back down. My money stuff is doing that annoying up 3 spots, down 5, back again thing, and the weird part is it’s not even always the same type of page. Some thin junk gets indexed stupid fast while a solid page sits there like it’s invisible. Makes zero sense. I wouldn’t start rewriting everything though. That’s how you end up chasing noise. I’d just watch which pages are actually holding after a couple days instead of reacting to every little swing.

ParticipantNo offense, but yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve got one site doing the exact same stupid dance — up a couple spots, then dumped, then back like nothing happened. And the indexing thing is still a joke. Garbage pages get crawled and indexed like they’ve got priority access, while actual money pages sit there collecting dust. Technically, Google’s been on this nonsense for years, just feels extra twitchy lately. Honestly,

ParticipantThat’s not really accurate. maybe yeah, that’s not just your site. I’m seeing the same wobble on a couple properties. Usually means they’re shuffling stuff around and testing signals, not some clean “update” where everything moves once and settles. I wouldn’t touch the pages every time it twitches — that’s how ppl make it worse. Indexing’s still stupid too. Junk gets in fast, decent pages sit there forever. Classic Google.

ParticipantNo offense, but usually, that’s not really accurate. usually, yeah, same here. Feels like the usual Google wobble bullshit — not enough to call it a clean update, just enough to annoy the hell out of you. I’m seeing a couple pages bounce around for no real reason too. One money page drops, then two days later it’s back like nothing happened. Meanwhile some trash URL I forgot existed gets indexed first. Makes perfect sense if you’re Google, I guess.

ParticipantRealistically, yeah, I’m seeing the same wobble. Nothing clean about it — just the usual Google nonsense where a page can’t sit still for 48 hours. I’m leaving the money pages alone for now. Touching them every time it jitters usually just makes it worse.

ParticipantIn most cases, yeah, same here. A couple of my sites are doing that annoying up/down thing where nothing *looks* broken but the SERPs are acting drunk anyway. ParticipantYeah, same here. Feels like the usual Google wobble — rankings aren’t really “gone,” just bouncing around like the system can’t decide what it trusts today. I’m not changing anything unless it stays weird for more than a few days. Every time I’ve started messing with titles/internal links during this kind of crap, it just muddies the water.

PikeParticipantYeah, I’m seeing it too. Feels like the usual “Google’s testing something” nonsense and half the time it settles back down for no obvious reason. I’m with Den on this one — I’m not touching the money pages unless it stays broken for a while….

PikeParticipantTo be fair, yeah, same. Looks like the usual Google wobble to me too. I’m not touching anything yet unless it keeps doing it for another few days. Last time I started “fixing” stuff during one of these swings, I just made it worse and couldn’t tell what actually moved. That’s how I look at it.

adrian_knoxParticipantPersonally, yeah, seeing the same kind of mess on a couple sites. Not even bothering to chase it yet — this looks like the usual Google roulette where it pretends to “test” stuff and then half the time it just settles back down on its own. The junk pages indexing faster thing is annoying as hell though. That part never stops being stupid. If it’s only been a few days, I’d sit on it. If it’s still doing this next week, then maybe it’s not just wobble.

ParticipantYeah, seeing it too. Feels like the usual “something’s being shuffled around” nonsense more than a clean drop. What’s been annoying me is the volatility on pages that normally don’t move much at all. That usually means some recalculation / testing / indexing weirdness, not necessarily a site-wide problem. But Google’s been so sloppy lately it’s hard to tell if it’s a real signal or just another round of garbage data. The junk pages getting indexed faster is the part that still makes no sense to me. I’ve seen thin crap get crawled and surfaced while solid pages sit in limbo, which is… yeah, pretty on brand for them at this point. If it’s only been a few days, I’d typically leave it alone. Changing stuff mid-swing usually just gives you more noise to stare at. At least lately.

meloncrashParticipantYeah, same here. To be fair, Feels like the usual Google wobble nonsense, not some clean “you got hit” thing. I’d leave it alone for a bit unless it keeps going for a week or two. Changing stuff mid-swing usually just makes it uglier.

ParticipantYeah, I’m seeing it too. The weird part is it’s not even consistent across sections — some pages bounce like crazy while others just sit there doing nothing. Usually when I’ve seen this, the crawl/indexing side is messy for a few days first. I’d check logs for fetch frequency and see if Google’s just rediscovering stuff in a dumb order again. If the money pages are getting outpaced by junk, that’s not exactly shocking either… happens way too often lately. Honestly,

ParticipantHonestly, Seriously, yeah, seeing it too. Feels like the usual Google clown show — nothing stable, just random crap moving around for no reason. And yeah, the junk pages indexing faster than real pages part is annoyingly familiar. Makes you wonder what they’re even doing half the time.

adrian_knoxParticipantIn most cases, yeah, I’m seeing it too, but I wouldn’t read too much into a 3-day wobble. The junk-first indexing thing is the part that still drives me nuts. Google seems to love grabbing trash pages and then acting confused when the real pages don’t settle right away. Been seeing that on a couple sites lately, especially ones with bigger affiliate sections. That said, if it keeps swinging for another week or so, then I’d start looking at crawl patterns and internal linking again. Right now it just feels like the usual mess.
