Yeah, I’ve had that too. Indexed feels like a fake win half the time — page finally shows up, then Google just kinda shrugs and buries it. Usually for me it’s a sign the page got through the doorway but didn’t pass whatever dumb quality check they’re doing that week. On affiliate stuff especially, it’s brutal.

Yeah, I’d be leaning update fallout too. That recovery-for-a-day nonsense is exactly the kind of thing Google does when it wants to mess with your head. I wouldn’t start gutting plugins over it unless u actually changed something. At least lately.

Honestly, yeah, that’s pretty much where I’m at too. Feels like indexing just gives Google another chance to shuffle the deck and screw with the page again. I’ve had a couple money pages pop for like 2-3 days and then vanish right back into the swamp. Not even bothering to pretend there’s a pattern anymore.

I mean, i mean, Honestly, yeah, that’s pretty much been my experience too. Indexed doesn’t seem to mean much until Google feels like moving the pieces around for whatever reason. I’ve had pages sit dead for a week or two, then suddenly wake up for no obvious trigger. Sometimes it’s a small internal link change, sometimes nothing at all. Makes it hard to tell if you’re actually fixing anything or just waiting on their weird batch timing. And the CTR drop part is real too. SERPs are a mess lately, so even when a page does get indexed, it’s not exactly getting a fair shot. Feels like half the time you’re just feeding the machine and hoping it decides to pay attention later. Fair enough.

Yeah, I’d lean settings/plugin too. I’ve had legit posts get snagged just because they had a couple links and a quote block, while some trash still wandered through like nothing happened. Usually it’s some overcooked rule, not bots suddenly…

Yeah, I’ve seen that happen too. Usually ends up being some filter rule getting a little too trigger-happy, not bots suddenly evolving overnight.

Kind of feels like honestly, yeah, I’m seeing that too. Couple of decent pages got clipped and some stupid fluff is hanging around like it pays rent. I’m not doing anything yet either, but I did notice the pages that slipped were the ones with a bit more internal competition. Google loves messing with that stuff and then acting like it’s some grand improvement. If it’s still off by midweek I’ll start looking at links and whether the template shifted anything weird.

I mean, personally, yeah, a bit. Not a full tanking, just enough to be annoying. Feels like the AI side is getting more selective about who it pulls from, which is great if you enjoy watching the same mediocre pages get recycled forever. I’ve had a couple money pages stay fine in normal search but get way less mention traffic this week. To be fair,

Yeah, I’d still look WP-side first too. That “fine in GSC but long-tails quietly falling off a cliff” pattern usually isn’t some clean Google update thing in my experience. I’ve had it turn out to be dumb cache/plugin output differences more than once. Annoying as hell because nothing looks obviously broken. Honestly,

Yeah, same here. The weird part is it’s not even the dumb “cheap meds” stuff anymore, it’s just garbage noise that looks like it was made to slip past basic filters. I’ve had better luck tightening up the signup flow a bit and watching which form is actually getting hit instead of throwing CAPTCHA at everything. Half the time the spam isn’t “site-wide,” it’s one stupid entry point getting farmed. Nathan’s right on the email verification thing, annoying as it is. It’s one of the few things that’s actually cut junk down for me without making the whole site miserable. I mean,

Well, yeah, I’m not rushing to nuke pages over a week of nonsense either. That said, if it’s *only* the comparison pages again, I’d still be side-eyeing the template. Google gets weird about those “same but different” money pages way more than people want to admit. Seen it where the rest of the site’s fine and the comparison stuff just gets slapped for a bit. GSC being flaky just makes it harder to tell if it’s real or just delayed garbage. I’d kinda wait a few days before touching anything major. If it’s still dead after that, then yeah, start checking the boring crap.

Yeah, same here. Nothing fancy, just the usual junk signups and those half-baked profile/link dumps slipping through if you’re not watching for an hour. Feels like once they find a forum, they just keep hammering it until something changes. Annoying as hell, but I’ve never seen a real “fix” that actually ends it for…

Yeah, I’d still blame the plugin first. Too many times it’s some dumb little thing like output changes, weird canonicals, or it touching affiliate link markup and then GSC starts acting like the sky fell in. If you can roll it back cleanly, I’d do that before wasting time staring at charts.

Yeah, I’m with you on not trusting the “just a coincidence” thing all the time. I’ve had a plugin update quietly screw with output enough that traffic got weird for a couple days before it was obvious what happened. No clean GSC message, just the usual nonsense. If it was me I’d roll back the last update first and see if it calms down. Yeah,

Kind of feels like i mean, Yeah, same here. It’s usually just Google thrashing around in old junk and calling it a day. The annoying part is when the crawl spike looks “good” on paper but nothing new gets any love. Been seeing that way too often lately.
