Kind of feels like yeah, same here. It’s not even clever spam anymore, just the same dead-eyed junk over and over. I’ve had a couple forums where it suddenly got way worse for a week or two, then kind of eased off, then came back again. No idea if it’s a new batch of bots or just the usual garbage getting more persistent. Okay then.
Obviously. To be fair, yeah, same here. It’s been a lot more junky lately, and half of it looks like it was churned out by the same lazy bot farm in a basement somewhere. The “nice site” stuff is almost funny if it wasn’t such a pain. Filters catch some of it, but plenty still slips through.
Yep. Same here, and it’s gotten lazier somehow. It’s always the same crap too — weird username, generic “nice site” post, link dumped in there like anyone’s buying it. Feels like whoever’s running it hasn’t updated the playbook since 2012. That’s how I look at it. Okay then.
Yeah, it’s been ugly lately. Not just “a bit more spam” either — feels like every junk account learned the exact same stupid routine overnight. And honestly the usernames are the part that gets me. It’s always some random keyboard vomit or generic first-name-last-name nonsense, then the post is either one link or some weird “great site thanks” garbage. Real creative stuff there, fellas. I’ve tightened filters too and it still leaks through. At this point I swear half the battle is just deleting the same crap in a different font.

Yeah, same here. It’s gotten dumb lately — not even the old “try to look real” nonsense, just straight-up garbage accounts blasting the same crap over and over. I’ve had some luck with slowing approvals down too, but like you said, it’s whack-a-mole. You kill one pattern and they just switch to some other low-effort trash. Pretty amazing how much effort they’ll put into being annoying. Sure.

Yeah, same. Feels like every update is a coin flip lately. I’ve had more weird admin/editor breakage in the last few months than I did in ages before that. Half the time it’s some “performance” tweak or caching nonsense that ends up stomping. That’s how I look at it.
Well, realistically, kind of feels like yeah, “pattern” is doing a lot of work there lately. I’ve had the same thing — page looks like it’s finally waking up, then two days later it’s back in the basement like nothing happened. At this point I don’t even get excited when something moves anymore, just wait for the next slap.
