In my opinion, yeah, I’m with you. This week’s been pretty junky — one of mine did the same little hop-and-drop thing and it’s hard not to just roll your eyes at it. Honestly feels like Google’s just poking stuff again and seeing what sticks.

Yeah, that’s pretty much been my experience too. Crawl happens, then it just sits there like Google forgot how to finish the job. And yeah, the “just improve the content” line is tired as hell when you can literally watch worse pages get indexed faster. I’ve had better luck with stronger internal linking than anything else, but even that feels like nudging a broken machine instead of actually fixing it.

Yeah, same here. Not a clean hit, just that annoying dead-air kind of drop where everything still *looks* fine until you check traffic and realize it’s doing nothing. I’m not buying the “just churn” explanation on this one either. Feels more like they changed how sticky this stuff is and a bunch of old junk stopped holding.

Yeah, same here. I’m not even bothering to “fix” anything yet unless it keeps going for another week or two. Google’s been doing that annoying swap-around thing a lot lately.

Yeah, that sounds way more like update fallout than some random Yoast disaster. If it was the WP side, u’d usually see something uglier than “stuff was fine, then buried.” I’d still peek at GSC crawl stats and a couple key URLs just to rule out dumb plugin/cache nonsense, but I wouldn’t bet on that being the main cause. Google’s been shuffling pages around like mad lately. Real fun if you rely on the traffic. At least lately. Fair enough.

Yeah, same here. Couple of decent pages just fell off a cliff and I can’t see anything obvious on my end either. Feels more like one of those Google mood swings than “your content sucks” for the 900th time. Search Console being useless as usual.

Yeah, I’m seeing it too. Not even always the shiny AI box either — sometimes Google just piles on enough junk above the fold that the click’s dead before you get a chance. CTR’s definitely getting uglier while impressions still look “fine,” which is the annoying part. Honestly, Feels less like “you dropped rankings” and more like “you got quietly robbed.”. Could be wrong though.

Yeah, same here. Not a clean crash, just enough random wobble to make you question your sanity for a couple days. I’m seeing the usual “why did this page get nuked while that…

To be fair, well, yeah, same story here. One site got hammered, another just got the slow bleed, and the SERPs still look like garbage so I’m not buying the “better results” line either. At least from…

Well, yep, seeing the same junk. Main site gets smacked, some dumb parasite page or half-baked comparison URL gets a little honeymoon bump, then it all shuffles again like Google’s testing random crap in production. I’m not touching anything yet either unless it turns into a real crawl/indexing issue. Honestly feels more like volatility than anything “broken” on my end. If it’s still ugly after a few days I’ll look harder, but right now it’s just the usual Google nonsense. That’s how I look at it.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same here. It’s been weirdly random — stuff that should be a no-brainer just sits there, then some trash page gets picked up like Google’s on a caffeine binge. I’m not even bothering with the “content quality” sermon on this one. When you see the same pattern across different sites, it’s pretty obvious it’s not just you being sloppy. I’ve had a couple pages finally move after a little internal linking push, but honestly that felt more like luck than anything else. Google’s indexing has just been flaky as hell lately.

Yeah, same here. It’s like crawl means basically nothing half the time now. I’ve got a couple pages that should’ve been instant and they’re still sitting in limbo, while some junky little page gets in like it’s got a VIP…

Yeah, I’d still put the host way ahead of Astra/Rank Math on the suspect list. That “comes back like nothing happened” stuff is exactly the kind of annoying crawl/server wobble I’ve seen before. If it’s the same posts bouncing, that’s most likely not just random Google mood swings.

Yeah, I’m seeing little pockets of that too. Not a total crater, just enough to make you sit there refreshing GSC like an idiot. I wouldn’t call it “the update” yet either. Half the time Google’s just mangling reporting and everyone starts panicking for no reason… but if the clicks are down and rankings are actually holding, that’s usually the part that smells like indexing/reporting garbage to me. If it keeps sliding into next week then yeah, maybe there’s something real going on. Right…

Yeah, same here. It’s the usual dumb wave stuff, not some mystery. If they’re all doing the same junk bios / outbound link pattern, I’d lean bot swarm over anything targeted. The annoying part is when they switch IPs fast enough that it looks “random” and people start chasing ghosts. I’ve had better luck tightening the signup path than nuking accounts one by one, honestly. Once they get a clean little hole, they just keep feeding it until somebody closes it.
