Kind of feels like anyone else seeing this nonsense or is it just my sites getting picked on again? Went from “meh” to basically dead overnight. I’m sure Google will say it’s all for the user or some other fairy tale while half the SERPs are full of junk. Pretty tired of watching legit pages bounce around like this. Right…

Realistically, in my opinion, yeah, same here. One site got smacked hard and another barely moved, which is always the fun part with these updates… totally random-looking nonsense. And of course the SERPs are still packed with garbage. “For the user” my ass.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same here. One client got kneecapped, another basically shrugged it off, so who knows what they’re actually doing anymore. Feels less like an “update” and more like they just shake the box and see what falls out.

Honestly, i mean, Yeah, same here. One of mine got absolutely flattened and another one just sort of… drifted sideways, which is somehow more annoying. At this point I don’t even bother trying to read the tea leaves with these updates. Google can call it whatever they want, but when the top spots are still full of trash and the legit stuff gets shoved around, it’s hard not to think the whole thing’s just busted.

Yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve seen a couple sites get hit hard and one weirdly improve, which makes zero sense if this was actually “quality” driven. At this point I just assume Google’s tweaking something and collateral damage is part of the package.

In most cases, yeah, same crap on my side. One site dipped hard, another barely moved, so it doesn’t even feel like a coherent update, just random punishment. And the annoying part is the usual junk is still sitting there like nothing happened. So much for “quality signals.”

Yeah, same here. One site got smacked, another one just kinda sat there doing nothing, which is almost worse because you can’t even tell what the hell changed To be fair,. And like Pike said, the junk is still right there. So much for this being some clean “quality” update. Just my experience.

Yeah, same story here — one site got kneecapped, another barely twitched, so I’m not buying the “clean update” angle either. At this point it just feels like roulette with a Google logo on it.

Interesting take. Honestly, yeah, same here. One site got hammered, one barely moved, and another’s just doing that lovely slow bleed thing. At this point I don’t even try to read the “quality update” tea leaves anymore. Half the time it feels like they just spin a wheel and call it intent. Right…

Yeah, no kidding. We had one client basically flatline overnight and another one just got weirdly noisy, like impressions still there but clicks fell off a cliff. I’m not even bothering with the “quality” speech anymore. If the junk is still sitting up there, then what are we even doing here.

No offense, but yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve got one money site that got shoved off a cliff and another dumb little scraper-ish thing that barely moved, which is exactly why I don’t buy the “clean update” nonsense either. The annoying part is the pattern keeps changing. One week it’s pages with solid links hanging on, next week some trash with no business ranking is still sitting there while legit stuff gets tossed around like it’s nothing. I stopped trying to read intent into it. Half the time it feels like they tweak something, watch the fallout, then pretend the collateral damage is the point. Real fun when you’re the one eating the drop Realistically,. In my opinion,

Yeah, same here. One of mine got hit hard and the others just started doing that slow bleed crap. The worst part is the SERPs don’t even look “better” after it. Just more random. At least from what I’ve seen.

To be fair, well, yeah, same story here. One site got hammered, another just got the slow bleed, and the SERPs still look like garbage so I’m not buying the “better results” line either. At least from…

Honestly, yeah, same here. Another “update” and somehow the junk still hangs around while legit pages get kicked in the teeth. I’m honestly past trying to make sense of it now. It’s just random crap with a Google logo on it.

Yeah, I’m seeing the same kind of mess on a couple properties. One site got clipped hard, another just started drifting down like a dead balloon. What’s annoying is the pattern isn’t even clean enough to test against. Rankings wobble, traffic drops, junk stays put, then some random page with half the effort somehow jumps in. Hard to pretend there’s some neat “quality” story going on when the SERPs look like that. I’d still want to separate update noise from something site-specific though, cause sometimes one section gets hit way harder than the rest and it’s not always the whole domain. But yeah, this one feels ugly either way. That’s been my experience anyway.

Kind of feels like kind of feels like yeah, same story here. “Helpful update” my ass — feels more like they just shuffled the mess around again. I’ve got one site that got smacked, another that’s just slowly bleeding out, which is somehow even more annoying. Just my experience.

Well, yeah, same here. One site got hit like a brick, another just started sliding for no obvious reason, which is honestly worse because you keep waiting for it to “settle” and it never really does. And of course the usual crowd will be in here saying “check your content quality” like that explains a 40% drop overnight. Sure, mate, Google’s magical quality meter just happened to hate half the web at once. I’ve seen enough of these now to not trust the tidy explanations. Feels more like they moved the mess around again and called it improvement. Interesting take.

Yeah, same here. I’m not buying the “quality” fairy tale when the drop lands overnight and the junk stays glued in place. Feels more like another round of shuffled crawl/indexing weirdness than anything clean.
