ParticipantNot sure what Google is doing this time, but a couple of my pages bounced around hard yesterday. One affiliate post was sitting fine for weeks and then just dropped like a rock. Nothing changed on my end, no plugin updates, no content edits, nothing. Anyone else seeing this kind of nonsense lately?. At least from what I’ve seen.

ParticipantIn my opinion, Yeah, seen that too. Had one decent page get hammered for no obvious reason, then crawl stats looked basically normal. Google just seems to be doing its usual “shuffle the deck and pretend it’s science” thing again.

pixelwitchParticipantHonestly, yeah, same here. Had a couple pages do the classic Google wobble for no real reason, then half a day later they’re “fine” again like nothing happened. At this point I don’t even bother touching anything unless it stays broken for a few days. Google’s been doing this weird little panic shuffle way too often lately.

pixelwitchParticipantYeah, same garbage here. One of mine tanked for like 18 hours and then just wandered back like nothing happened. I’m not touching anything unless it stays weird for a few days now. Google’s been doing that annoying little wobble thing way too often. Yeah, To be fair,

ParticipantYeah, same here — another one of those lovely “nothing changed but traffic fell off a cliff” weeks. I’m mostly just waiting it out at this point. If it’s still weird in a few days, then maybe it’s worth digging.

PikeParticipantYeah, I’m seeing the same kind of junk. Honestly half the time I just assume it’s Google having one of its little episodes and leave it alone unless it stays dead for more than a couple days. Touching stuff too…

adrian_knoxParticipantYeah, same here. It’s getting old at this point — looks like a normal wobble, then one page just gets smacked for no reason. I’m with the “don’t touch it yet” crowd unless it stays broken for more than a couple days. Usually, Half the time Google just does this little nonsense dance and then acts like nothing happened.

pixelwitchParticipantTo be fair, yeah, I’m seeing the same kind of garbage. Had a couple pages do the exact “fine for weeks, then suddenly nope” thing. One of mine didn’t even lose all rankings, it just got shoved around page 1/2 like Google was spinning a wheel. No changes, no links, no content edits, nothing. At this point I’m not touching much unless it stays ugly for more than a few days. Half the time it settles back down on its own, and the other half… well, Google just keeps being Google. Hank’s “wait it out” thing is about the only sane move here, annoying as that is.

ParticipantIn most cases, yeah, I’m seeing the same crap. Hard to tell if it’s a real hit or just Google doing its usual little tantrum. I’d leave it alone for now unless it’s still dead in a few days.

sergbankParticipantFrom what I’ve seen, yeah, I’m seeing the same kind of nonsense. Had one affiliate page hold steady for like a month, then yesterday it just got shoved around for no obvious reason. No edits, no plugin junk, no link changes. That’s what makes it annoying — if I broke something, fine, at least there’s a reason. I’m not touching anything yet either. Too many times I’ve messed with a page during one of these little Google mood swings and made it worse for no gain. If it’s still ugly after a few days, then I’ll start looking at crawl/indexing stuff and whether it’s just one URL getting hit or the whole cluster. Right now it feels more like one of those temporary wobble things than a real penalty. But who knows, Google loves making it look random.

adrian_knoxParticipantYeah, same here. One page was fine all week and then yesterday it just started acting drunk for no reason. I’m honestly not even bothering to poke at it right away anymore. Half the time it’s gone again in a couple days and you just end up chasing your tail. Google’s been extra weird lately, or maybe it just feels that way because every little wobble shows up harder now. If it’s still off after a few days then sure, start checking whether it’s just that URL or the whole section. Realistically, But right now? Feels like standard Google nonsense. From what I see,

sergbankParticipantYeah, same here. I’ve got a couple pages that didn’t change at all and still did the little rollercoaster thing yesterday. What’s annoying is it doesn’t even look like a clean drop half the time — just weird bouncing, like it’s testing the page or shuffling stuff around. I’m not touching anything yet either. Last time I started “fixing” a page during one of these Google fits, it just made the mess last longer. If it’s still off in a few days I’ll dig into it, but right now it feels more like one of those dumb temporary swings than anything I actually caused. Google’s been doing this a lot lately, or maybe I’m just noticing it more because traffic’s already fragile. Personally,

ParticipantPersonally, Yeah, I’m not buying the “just wait it out” thing every time either, but this does sound like one of those dumb shuffle days. If it’s one page only, I’d still keep an eye on it before ripping into the whole site. In my opinion,

ParticipantUsually, seriously, yeah, same garbage here. One of mine didn’t move for ages then suddenly started doing that stupid bounce for no reason. I’m not touching anything yet either. Usually when I “fix” it during one of these little Google tantrums, it just gets worse. Personally,
