Traffic dead since the last update

Not gonna lie, my main site got smacked and the weird part is the junk pages are still hanging around like glue. I’ve seen ranking drops before, but this one feels off. Some pages are just gone, others are stuck in the same spot doing nothing, and the traffic graph looks like somebody kicked the plug out. I’m seeing more and more people say “just improve content” like that fixes everything. Yeah, sure. Meanwhile parasite crap and auto-generated garbage still pops up everywhere. Makes zero sense sometimes. Anyone else seeing recovery on anything real, or is it just a slow bleed for everyone right now? Honestly,

Realistically, yeah, same here. One client site got hit hard after the update and the junk pages are still floating around like nothing happened, which is the annoying part. “Just improve content” is such lazy advice when the crawl/index mess is still there. I’m seeing a slow bleed, not some clean recovery.

Yeah, I’m seeing the same ugly pattern. The weird part for me is the trash pages sticking around too. u’d think if Google was actually cleaning house, some of that obvious junk would get hit harder, but nope — half the time it’s the decent stuff that gets kneecapped and the garbage just sits there taking up oxygen. I’ve had a couple sites where the traffic drop wasn’t even a clean drop, more like pages just stopped moving and impressions got weird as hell. No real recovery, just a slow drip of “maybe this will come back” and then it doesn’t. And yeah, “improve content” gets tossed around like it means anything by itself. If the indexing/crawl stuff is borked or the SERPs are full of parasite nonsense, better content alone isn’t some magic reset button. I’m not seeing much real bounce-back…

In most cases, yeah, same story here — not seeing anything that looks like a real recovery, just pages freezing in place while the junk keeps squatting in the index. And honestly the “just improve content” crowd is useless here. If crawl/index signals are still busted, you can rewrite pages all day and nothing moves.
