Spam attacks getting worse again?

Well, not sure if it’s just me, but the junk signups and bot posts have picked up again this week. I cleaned up a bunch yesterday and this morning there were more waiting. Kind of annoying because the site was quiet for a while. Anyone else seeing this? I’m debating whether to tighten registration again or just leave it and keep deleting them manually.
