Hey all,
Just wanted to throw this out there because I’m seeing some odd behavior on a couple of my affiliate sites this week.
One site is up around 12% in impressions, but CTR dropped hard on a few money pages. Rankings didn’t tank much, maybe a couple spots here and there, but the click-through is definitely off compared to last month. Another site in the same niche is doing the opposite — fewer impressions, but better CTR and slightly better RPM from affiliate clicks.
I’ve been testing a few things:
– rewriting titles to be more benefit-driven
– tightening up meta descriptions on pages that actually rank
– swapping in more direct comparison tables above the fold
– using AI to generate FAQ sections, then editing them hard so they don’t read like junk
Honestly, the biggest lift so far came from title changes, not fancy SEO stuff. Nothing groundbreaking, just making the result look more useful than the competitors.
Curious if anyone else is seeing similar swings after the update? Also, if you’ve got a clean CTR tweak that worked on affiliate pages, I’d love to hear it. I’m trying to keep things simple and focus on what actually moves traffic and revenue, not theory.
