      Hey all,

I’ve been watching a couple of my affiliate sites this week and CTR is acting a little strange after the recent Google update. Rankings are mostly stable on a few pages, but clicks are down on some queries even when impressions are holding up. That usually tells me Google is changing how the SERPs are showing stuff, not just pure ranking movement.

      A few things I’ve noticed:
      – Some money pages are still in the same position, but getting fewer clicks
      – Informational posts are holding impressions better than affiliate pages
      – A couple of snippets got rewritten and look way less clickable than before
      – AI-assisted content pages didn’t move much, but they’re not pulling the same CTR as my older hand-edited posts

I’m testing a few simple fixes:
      – rewriting titles to be more specific and less “SEO-ish”
      – tightening meta descriptions around the actual search intent
      – adding comparison tables higher up the page
      – checking whether the page is getting pushed below bigger SERP features

I’m also comparing a couple of SEO tools to see if they’re spotting the same drop in CTR trends. One tool makes it look like rankings tanked, but GSC says it’s more of a click-through issue than a position issue.

Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing on affiliate sites or lead gen pages. Are you changing titles, content layout, or just waiting it out?
