Been noticing some odd CTR swings on a few of my affiliate pages over the last couple weeks.
Nothing major on the ranking side yet, but impressions are up on some articles while clicks are flat or even down a bit. Feels like Google is testing different SERP layouts or just shifting how stuff gets shown.
A couple quick observations from my own sites:
– “Best X for Y” pages are still pulling decent impressions, but the click-through is weaker than usual
– Some informational posts are getting more visibility, but they’re not sending much buyer traffic
– Pages with stronger title tags seem to be holding up better than the more generic ones
I’ve been tweaking titles and meta descriptions on a small batch of pages to see if I can recover some CTR. Also testing a few AI-assisted title variations, but honestly the human-written ones still seem to perform better when they’re specific and not too clickbaity.
Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing.
Are you guys changing titles, adding FAQ sections, or just riding it out until things settle?
