Seeing more weird stuff in Search Console lately and I’m not sure if it’s just me or if the AI answers are changing how pages get picked up. A couple of my older pages are still ranking, but the clicks are way down. Not a total drop, just enough to make it annoying. Feels like Google is deciding the snippet already answered the query and that’s that. Anyone else seeing this on affiliate or niche sites, or am I reading too much into it?

From what I’ve seen, yeah, I’ve been seeing that too, or something close to it. A few older pages are still hanging in there but the clicks just quietly bleed off. Feels like Google’s happy to “answer” the query right in the SERP and your page gets the leftovers. Super annoying on affiliate stuff.

Honestly, well, yeah, I’m seeing that too. Not a full tank, just this slow bleed where the page is still “there” but the click gets stolen by Google’s own answer box nonsense. I’ve had a couple affiliate pages do exactly that after sitting fine for months, so I don’t think you’re reading too much into it. Google’s been doing that annoying thing where it acts like it already solved the query for the user. I mean,

Yeah, Yeah, I’m seeing it too. Not a full-on collapse, just that annoying “still ranking, no one clicks” thing. Feels like Google’s getting way too comfortable answering the easy stuff itself and leaving us with scraps. On affiliate pages that’s brutal. Yeah,

Honestly, Realistically, technically, yeah, I’ve seen the same slow bleed. Not a dramatic tank, just enough to make you stare at GSC and go “cool, thanks Google.” Feels worse on affiliate/niche stuff because the SERP’s basically trying to be the answer now. Which is great for Google, obviously, and garbage for everyone else. I wouldn’t call it “just snippets” every time though — sometimes it’s that, sometimes the query intent…
