Personally, yeah, that “back for a day then dead again” thing usually means it wasn’t a real recovery, just Google wobbling it around. If both sites got hit together, I’d be looking at shared stuff first too — same layout, same content pattern, same internal linking, same AI-ish base. That’s been enough to sink plenty of small sites lately, in my experience. Could still be a bad update…
