Yeah, I’ve had that happen and it’s usually **not** some mystical “Google hates the site now” thing, even though it sure feels like it. In my experience it’s often the new pages being too close to the old stuff, or the whole site just looking more bloated than it did before. I’d be real careful with nuking pages though — I’ve done that once and it just made the drop harder to read, like you said Kind of feels like. If it were me I’d leave it alone for a bit and watch which pages actually got hit. Google’s been weird as hell with old affiliate sites lately anyway. Could be wrong though.
