AI snippets killing my clicks lately

Anyone else seeing this? I’ve got pages still ranking, but the clicks are just garbage compared to a few months ago. Feels like people are getting the answer straight from the AI box and never bothering to visit. Maybe I’m overreacting, but it’s hitting a couple of my better pages hard. Curious if anyone’s actually found a decent way around it, or if we’re all just watching traffic bleed out.

That’s not really accurate. yeah, it’s happening. Rankings are one thing, clicks are another now and Google’s basically just vacuuming up the easy stuff before anyone gets to your page. Been seeing it on a couple sites too — not total death, but enough to make you stare at the graph and swear at it. The annoying part is it always seems to hit the pages that used to be the “safe” traffic. I don’t think there’s some magic fix, honestly. If the query can be answered in 2 lines, the AI box is gonna eat it. You can try pushing stuff that actually needs the page open — comparisons, updated info, screenshots,…

Yeah, same here. Rankings holding while clicks get gutted is pretty much the new normal on a bunch of queries. I don’t think there’s a clean “fix” either, which is the annoying part. If the SERP can answer it without a click, Google’s gonna keep doing that garbage. Best I’ve seen is making the page less “snippet bait” and more something you actually need to open, but even that’s hit or miss.
