Been cleaning up registrations and random junk posts all morning. Same usual garbage, different usernames. Anyone else getting hit harder this week, or is it just my forum?. Just my experience.

Well, yeah, not just you. Mine’s been getting hammered with the same stupid signup junk all week, like they just rotate usernames and keep going. Honestly it feels worse than usual lately. The…

In most cases, yeah, it’s been ugly here too. Same trash, just new names every hour like it’s some kind of hobby. I’m half convinced half these “users”…

Yeah, same here. It’s that annoying wave where you delete 20 junk signups and somehow 20 more show up right after. Feels a bit worse this week, honestly. I’ve had better luck tightening the registration stuff than trying to clean up after the fact.

From my experience, yeah, same here. It’s been the usual bot soup — nothing fancy, just more of it. I’ve had to start blocking by pattern instead of usernames because they just keep recycling the same crap.

I mean, yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve had the same dumb wave on a couple sites this week — nothing clever, just a ton of dead-looking signups and those weird one-liner junk posts. What’s been annoying me is they’re not even trying very hard anymore. Same patterns, same garbage bios, same timing like clockwork. I ended up tightening registration and adding a couple extra checks because cleaning it up after the fact is just a waste of time. Honestly feels worse when Google decides to send some random junk traffic too, because then you…

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same crap here. Not a huge disaster, but enough to be annoying when you’re already busy with actual site stuff. I’ve noticed the junk posts are getting a little more “human” looking too, which is the part that pisses me off. Not clever exactly, just enough to sneak past the lazy filters if you’re not watching. Been blocking more by behavior than by IP/name too, because the usernames are basically disposable at this point. If this keeps up I’m probably gonna tighten registration again rather than babysit the queue all week. Yeah,

In my opinion, yeah, same here. Nothing fancy, just more of the usual junk and it’s getting old fast. I’ve been leaning harder on registration checks too because cleaning up after them is just a waste of time.

Well, yeah, same here. It’s like they all woke up at once and decided to be annoying. I don’t even bother looking at the usernames anymore, half of them are obviously disposable junk. Honestly,

In my opinion, realistically, yeah, it’s been worse here too. Not a disaster, just enough garbage to make you want to close registrations for a week and be done with it. The annoying part is they’re not even doing anything clever, just enough to…

Okay then. Yeah, it’s been ugly here too. Same dumb pattern — a bunch of fresh accounts, garbage posts, then they vanish like they did something useful. Honestly I’m more annoyed that it’s still this easy in 2026 or whatever year we’re pretending this is. You’d think the bot people would at least try to be less blatant, but nope, same trash as always.

Well, yeah, same here. It’s not even the volume as much as how stupidly obvious they are — new account, random post, gone. I’ve been seeing a weird spike in the “almost human” junk too, which is somehow more annoying because it wastes a bit more time before you nuke it. If it keeps up I’m probably gonna tighten registration again for a bit, which sucks because legit signups always get punished for the bot crap.

Yeah, same here. Not insane volume, just enough to be a pain in the ass and waste time. Honestly, The “almost human” ones are the worst because you actually have to glance at them twice. I swear they’re getting slightly less stupid, which is annoying in its own way. I mean,

Yeah, it’s been a pain here too. Not crazy volume, just enough to make the morning feel like busywork. To be fair, The “almost human” junk is the annoying part. At least the obvious garbage is easy to sweep, but the slightly less dumb ones waste time cause you actually have to look twice before nuking them. I’ve been seeing the same thing on a couple smaller sites too, so I don’t think it’s just your forum. Feels like they’re testing a bunch of half-baked stuff again and seeing what sticks. Which, great, because apparently we’re the ones doing QA for free.

Yeah, same. Not a huge flood, just enough junk to be annoying and make you waste time clicking through crap. The “almost human” ones are the worst lately. Obvious bot spam I can clear without even thinking, but the slightly better garbage is just tedious.

Realistically, from what I’ve seen, yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve had a dumb little wave of them the last few days too, mostly the “looks kinda human if you squint” crap. The annoying part is exactly what crawl_void said — the obvious junk is whatever, but the half-decent ones waste time because you actually stop and check the profile/post before deleting it. Feels like they’re trying a bit harder than usual, or maybe the filters are just getting bypassed more often. Either way, same old garbage, just slightly less stupid.

I mean, Yeah, same here. Not a flood, just enough to be annoying as hell. The “almost human” junk is the part that pisses me off. The obvious crap gets deleted in two seconds, but the slightly cleaned-up stuff makes you stop and actually look at it, which is exactly what they want I guess. Feels like they’re trying a few different templates again. Same old garbage, just with a different coat of paint. That’s been my experience anyway.

Realistically, yeah, same here. Not a flood-flood, but enough to be annoying when you’re trying to keep the place clean and it’s just one more stupid thing to babysit. The weird part is it always feels like they tweak the junk just enough to slip past the lazier filters for a bit, then everybody’s stuck doing manual cleanup again. I’ve seen a couple this week that were basically “human-shaped” enough to waste a minute, which is the whole point I guess. If it keeps up much longer I’d start looking at whatever’s changed on the registration side first, because it usually isn’t random.

From what I’ve seen, yeah, same on my end. Not a full-on tsunami or anything, just enough dumb registrations to make you sigh and start wondering what changed. The annoying part is exactly that “almost human” crap. Makes you waste a minute before you bin it.

Yeah, same here. Not a flood, but enough to be annoying when you’re already dealing with actual site stuff. What’s been getting me is the “almost normal” ones too — the ones that don’t look totally braindead at first glance. Those are the worst because you end up checking them twice before nuking them. From what I see,. That’s how I look at it.

To be fair, yeah, same here. Not a disaster, just enough junk to be a pain in the ass. If it keeps creeping up, I’d check the reg settings before anything else. At least from what I’ve seen.
