ParticipantIn my opinion, Mine’s been all over the place this week. New pages sit there forever, then some junk URL gets picked up in like 10 minutes. I’m not even doing anything weird on…

ParticipantPersonally, Yeah, same here. Feels like crawl scheduling’s been drunk all week. I’ve seen fresh stuff sit for days, then some random parameter URL or garbage internal link gets sniffed immediately. Usually when I see that kind of nonsense it’s not “Google being smart,” it’s just the system finding whatever’s easiest to reach and not bothering with the stuff we actually care about. I’d be checking logs first, not Search Console fluff. Ifbot hits dropped or Google’s spending more time on old junk than new templates, that usually tells the story faster than the index report does. Also seen this happen when internal linking gets a bit messy and the new pages are too deep / too isolated, even if the site looks fine on the surface. Could just be a temporary crawl queue thing too, but yeah, “random”…

ParticipantFrom my experience, yeah, same here. Feels like the usual Google nonsense — crawl the junk, ignore the stuff you actually want indexed. I’ve seen it on a couple client sites this week too. Not panicking yet, but…

ParticipantYeah, same here. It’s been doing that annoying “index the trash first” thing again. I’ve had a couple fresh pages just sit, then some stupid old parameter URL gets picked up like it’s the second coming. Doesn’t feel…

ParticipantIn most cases, yeah, same on a couple sites here. It’s been weirdly inconsistent — fresh pages sitting around while some useless old URL gets crawled like it matters. I’m not convinced it’s anything “mystical” either, just Google being Google for a week.

ParticipantYeah, I’m seeing it too. Feels like one of those weeks where Google’s just doing random stuff and nobody really knows why.

ParticipantTo be fair, yeah, I’m not buying the “just a weird week” thing anymore. Been seeing this on enough sites now that it feels like they’re prioritizing garbage and ignoring stuff that actually matters.

ParticipantI mean, yeah, same here. One site got a dumb tag page crawled before the actual money page, which is… classic Google nonsense. I’m not buying the “just a weird week” thing either, this has been happening enough that it feels like they’re just drifting again.

ParticipantFrom what I’ve seen, yeah, I’m seeing it too. New stuff just sits there while some random junk gets picked up right…

ParticipantUsually, yeah, same crap here. New pages can sit dead for days, then some useless parameter URL gets sniffed out like it’s breaking news. Not buying the “just a weird week” thing either, this feels like the usual Google drift where the wrong stuff gets attention for no good reason. Honestly,

ParticipantYeah, I’m seeing the same kind of garbage. Feels like Google’s picking stuff at random again — money pages sit there and some useless archive/tag junk gets crawled first for no reason. I’ve had a couple new pages take forever this week too, then some nonsense URL gets indexed fast. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.

ParticipantPersonally, yeah, we’ve been seeing it on a few client sites too. New pages just sit in limbo, then some random nonsense URL gets attention way faster than it should. What’s annoying is it doesn’t even look consistent site-to-site, so I’m not convinced it’s just “your crawl budget” or whatever the usual hand-wavy answer is. Google’s been doing that thing lately where it seems to latch onto junk first and leave the actual pages hanging. I’ve had a couple cases where internal linking was fine, sitemap was clean, and still the new pages took ages while some old parameter crap got indexed. Pretty much par for the course at this point, which is depressing.

ParticipantThat’s not really accurate. realistically, yeah, same here. It’s been doing that annoying “ignore the real page, index the trash” routine again. And before Mason starts with the usual hand-wavy crap, no, it’s not always crawl budget magic. I’ve seen clean sites get the same nonsense. Personally,

ParticipantFrom my experience, yeah, same here. It’s been weirdly inconsistent, which is the annoying part. And no, before somebody starts the usual crawl budget sermon, that doesn’t explain all of it.

ParticipantHonestly, well, yeah, same here. It’s been annoyingly random — one decent page sits there forever, then some garbage URL gets grabbed like it’s important. I’m honestly tired of the “just improve crawl budget” line too. Doesn’t explain why clean stuff gets ignored while junk gets the VIP treatment. Personally,

ParticipantYeah, same crap here. New pages just sit and rot while some nonsense URL gets picked up like it’s a priority. At this point I don’t even think it’s just crawl budget. Google’s just being weird again, like usual.
