Yeah, I’d be looking at the recent changes before I start blaming “the update” too hard. Plugins + AI content + money pages shifting around is exactly the kind of combo that can make things look random for a few days. I’ve seen stuff go sideways from something dumb like a plugin touching canonicals or a template change messing with internal links. That said, if multiple sites got hit overnight, I wouldn’t ignore the update either. Just don’t do the usual forum thing and jump straight to “Google killed me” before checking the obvious stuff first. That’s been my experience anyway.
