Honestly, Honestly, yeah, I’d still suspect something boring before “Google being weird” tbh. I’ve had drops like that and it was dumb stuff like cache serving old pages, a plugin update doing something stupid to canonicals, or a noindex getting slipped in somewhere. GSC looking “mostly fine” doesn’t really clear you. If you’ve got any recent plugin updates, I’d start there.
