Honestly, No offense, but yeah, I’m not buying the “nothing changed” line half the time anymore. Google’ll happily nudge a page into the basement for a week and then pretend it was all part of the plan. If GSC’s bouncing around too, I’d lean more toward noise / reshuffle than some big site issue. Still annoying as hell though. At least from what I’ve seen.
