In most cases, yeah, I’m seeing it too. In most cases, Not every site, which is the annoying part. Had one client site where a bunch of new pages sat in Discovered for almost a week, then suddenly a chunk flipped over like nothing was wrong. Same crawl patterns, same internal linking, same sitemap setup. Another site in a totally different niche is still dragging its feet. So yeah, feels more like Google being picky / slow on crawl priority than some obvious site issue. Which is great, because that’s exactly the kind of nonsense that burns time for no reason. Mason’s “technically” routine doesn’t really move the needle here either. If logs are clean and nothing changed, I’d be pretty skeptical of any neat little explanation. Google just does this sometimes and pretends it’s normal.
