Okay then. I mean, to be fair, yeah, it’s not just you. I’ve got a couple things that normally move fast and they’re just sitting there doing absolutely nothing, which is always a great sign that Google’s “systems” are having one of their little episodes again. What’s annoying is it doesn’t even look consistent. Same crawl behavior, same basic setup, one page gets picked up, the next one just disappears into the swamp for days. So yeah, the whole “just improve the content” line is doing a lot of heavy lifting for people who don’t actually have this problem. I’ve seen a few cases where internal linking seemed to help a bit, but honestly it’s more like nudging a drunk guy in the right direction than a real fix. If Google decides a page is going to sit in limbo, it sits there. And then some garbage competitor page with two paragraphs and a stock photo gets indexed like it’s breaking news. Makes perfect sense, obviously. Obviously.
