Yeah, I’m seeing it too. One site got a little lift midweek and then just got shoved right back down, which is always fun because now you get to spend 3 days wondering if it was a real move or just Google messing around again. The “quality content” stuff is whatever at this point. Feels like people repeat it because they don’t have anything better to say. I’ve had pages that were clearly better than the junk above them do absolutely nothing, so yeah… I’m not buying the clean little narratives anymore. Honestly the weird part is when a site just sits flat. At least with movement you can pretend something’s happening. Flat is just Google giving you the cold shoulder. Could be wrong though.
