Yeah, I’ve seen that too. Google’ll happily slurp up the trash if it’s easier to crawl, then act weird about normal pages for no good reason. I’d still check whether the legit ones are getting hit with any weird noindex/canonical/rendering nonsense, but yeah, the “quality” sermon doesn’t explain all of it. Google just does dumb Google stuff sometimes.
