Yeah, I’ve had the same crap happen. Usually the junk pages are just easier for Google to grab fast — lighter HTML, cleaner path, fewer moving parts. Meanwhile the “real” pages have some stupid delay somewhere, or they’re getting crawled but not treated as worth indexing right away. Google’s been especially flaky about that lately, at least in my logs. What I’ve seen help sometimes: – make sure the legit pages are actually getting internal links from stuff Google already knows – check if the spam pages are just way thinner / simpler to render – look at whether the real pages are buried deeper or need JS to show anything useful – see if the junk pages are getting hit by bots more often cause they’re easier to discover And yeah, the “just make better content” crowd can spare me. I’ve had solid pages sit for days while some garbage parasite or tag page gets indexed in a few hours. Google’s not exactly behaving like a rational machine here. Honestly,
