In my opinion, Yeah, I’d wait it out a bit before assuming it’s a real hit. If the crawls are still normal and it’s mostly just the weekend shuffle, that’s usually Google being Google and not some dramatic collapse. The junk pages popping up while the money pages dip is annoyingly common. If it’s still ugly midweek, then I’d start looking at: – snippet changes – intent mismatch – weird URL variants / canonicals – whether one of the better pages got replaced by some weaker version But day one after a weekend update? Hard to call it anything solid yet. I’ve seen this settle back down more than once.
