Not sure if it’s just me, but a bunch of pages I published last week are still sitting there like they don’t exist. Same setup, same sitemap, same internal links. Usually they’d at least get crawled faster than this. I’m seeing some random junk get picked up first too, which is always fun. Google doing Google things I guess. Anyone else noticing this or am I just getting hit with another stupid site-specific problem?
Yeah, I’m seeing it too. Couple new pages I expected to move fast are just… sitting there, while some garbage gets crawled first like usual. Feels worse than normal this week, honestly. Could just be another one of those annoying “Google will get to it when it feels like it” phases. That’s been my experience anyway.
Yeah, I’ve seen that too. Last week was weirdly sluggish for a couple sites I’m watching — not total dead silence, but enough to make you go “okay, what now.” And yeah, the junk getting picked up first is classic Google nonsense. Hard to tell if it’s just crawl budget being dumb for a bit or if something on the site is making the important stuff look less important than it should. That’s been my experience anyway.
Seriously, in my opinion, Yeah, same here. Feels like the usual “important pages can wait, random crap first” garbage. I wouldn’t even trust it to be a clean site issue at this point. Google’s been doing this weird laggy crawl/index nonsense off and on for a while now.
