Anyone else seeing weird CTR changes after the last Google update?

Been watching a couple of my sites the past week and the rankings are mostly holding, but CTR is all over the place.

One affiliate site is sitting around the same positions as before, yet clicks dropped hard on a few money pages. Another site actually picked up a bit even though impressions didn’t move much. So I’m wondering if anyone else is seeing this too, or if it’s just my niche being weird.

      What I’ve tested so far:
      – Tweaked titles on a few pages to be more direct
      – Added more “comparison” style wording for affiliate posts
      – Changed some meta descriptions, though I know Google rewrites a lot of them anyway
      – Checked Search Console for pages that lost clicks but not rankings

My take is Google may be testing different SERP layouts or shifting attention to more branded-looking results. Either way, it feels like CTR is getting more important again, especially on pages ranking 3–8.

I’m also noticing AI-heavy content is fine for indexing, but if the title/meta combo is bland, it gets ignored fast. So I’m leaning more toward improving snippets than pumping out more content right now.

Curious what everyone else is seeing:
      – CTR drops without ranking drops?
      – Any title tag changes helping?
      – Anyone using AI tools just for snippet testing or title ideas?

Would be good to compare notes.
