Hey folks,
Been noticing some strange CTR movement on a few of my affiliate pages over the last couple weeks. Rankings are mostly holding, but clicks are bouncing around way more than usual.
A few quick observations from my side:
– Pages sitting in positions 3-6 are getting way less traffic than they used to
– Some old titles that used to pull decent CTR are now underperforming hard
– Snippet changes seem to matter more than ever, especially on comparison and “best X for Y” pages
– A couple AI-assisted pages are actually doing fine, but only after I rewrote the intros and tightened up the titles
I’m testing a few simple things right now:
– shorter titles with clearer intent
– more direct meta descriptions
– adding pricing / year / comparison angle where it makes sense
– updating FAQ sections to match the current search intent
Nothing fancy, just trying to squeeze more clicks out of the traffic I already have instead of chasing new keywords all day.
Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing. Are you guys changing titles more often now, or just letting pages ride?
Also, if you’re doing affiliate SEO, have you found any CTR tweaks that actually move the needle lately?
