Yeah, rollback it and stop bleeding time on it. I’ve seen that exact combo before — plugin update looks “fine” on one box and then on another it turns the admin into molasses and randomly nukes bits of the frontend. Realistically, Usually it’s some ugly interaction with PHP version, theme garbage, or another plugin doing its own little stupid thing in the background. And yeah, the “just update everything” crowd can shove it. That advice is always nice right up until your tables disappear and you’re staring at a broken layout at 11pm. If the same update didn’t break the other site, I wouldn’t even trust the plugin author’s testing at that point.
