Traffic drops again or just me?

I mean, To be fair, yeah, not just you. I’m seeing the same dumb shuffle — a couple pages tank, some random junk post pops up, then GSC pretends everything’s “normal.” At this point “wait it out” is basically forum filler unless you’ve got a clean before/after test.

Yeah, same here on a couple properties. The “random junk post jumps up while money pages wobble” thing is getting pretty old. I’m not buying the blanket “just wait” line either, at least not without looking at logs / crawl / actual ranking movement by page type. Sometimes it’s just noise, sure, but sometimes it’s clearly not. GSC being all “looks fine” while traffic’s getting kicked around is basically par for the course now. pixelwitch is right that it’s happening, but the shrugging part drives me nuts. If it’s been a few weeks and the same pages keep sliding, I wouldn’t just sit there and hope Google’s in a better mood next Tuesday. Could be wrong though.

In my opinion, personally, yeah, I’m seeing it too, but I’d still be careful about calling every wobble a “hit” right away. If it’s the same money pages drifting and the junk stuff popping in, that’s usually not great, but it’s also not always some giant sitewide disaster. The annoying part is GSC will sit there looking smug while traffic’s doing weird little side quests. I’d probably watch it a few more days and compare page types, not just totals. If this keeps repeating, then yeah, it’s probably more than noise.

I’d be more worried if it keeps happening for another week or two. If it’s just a one-off, whatever. If it’s the same pages getting kicked around again, then yeah, something’s up.
