      Hey all,

I’ve been seeing some pretty strange CTR changes on a few affiliate sites over the last couple weeks. Rankings are mostly holding, but clicks are bouncing around way more than usual. Some pages that used to sit at #3 or #4 are now getting way less traffic than I expected.

A couple quick observations from my side:

      – Product roundup pages are getting hit harder than informational posts
      – Titles with numbers still seem to pull better CTR, but only if the intent is super clear
      – Adding FAQ-style sections didn’t do much for me this time
      – A few pages improved after I rewrote the meta titles to be more direct and less “SEO-ish”

I also tested a couple AI-assisted title variations just to see if I could claw back some clicks. Mixed results so far. One page recovered a bit, another barely moved.

I’m trying not to overthink it, but it feels like Google is rewarding cleaner intent and punishing the usual fluffy affiliate wording.

Curious if anyone else is seeing the same thing:
      – CTR drops without major ranking loss?
      – Better performance from shorter titles?
      – Any recent wins with affiliate pages after the update?

Would love to hear what’s working for you guys.
