Yeah, I’d still suspect a plugin or cache issue before I’d blame Google straight away. I’ve seen “looks fine in Search Console” while the site was quietly serving stale junk or weird canonicals cause some optimization plugin got cute after an update. Even one bad setting can tank clicks without the site looking obviously broken. If it were me, I’d check the boring stuff first: – recent plugin updates – cache/minify settings – canonical tags – any accidental noindex stuff – server errors / 5xx in logs if you can get them And honestly, if you’ve got one of those all-in-one SEO/optimization stacks, I’d be a little suspicious of that before anything else.
