Reply To: Traffic dropped again, shocking absolutely nobody

Yeah, I’m seeing bits of that too. Not the neat “everything fell off a cliff” kind of drop, more the annoying slow bleed where one property gets hit, another one looks fine for a day, then starts acting dead. And yeah, the “just publish better content” line is basically forum wallpaper at this point. Doesn’t mean much when a site’s been steady for months and then Google starts doing its little vanishing act. If anyone’s looking for something useful, I’d be checking crawl/indexing timing first, not chasing whatever update rumor’s floating around today. Sometimes it’s just Google being weird. Sometimes it’s a site issue. Usually it’s a mix, which is even more fun.
