Been noticing some odd CTR changes on a few of my affiliate pages over the last couple weeks.

A couple of pages that held steady for months suddenly dropped in clicks even though average position barely moved. One review post is still sitting around positions 4–6 for a bunch of keywords, but the CTR took a hit like the snippet just stopped pulling.

      What I’ve tested so far:
      – rewrote titles to be a bit more direct
      – updated meta descriptions on the main money pages
      – added comparison tables above the fold
      – swapped out a couple of AI-written intros for more human-sounding ones
      – tightened internal links to push the main commercial pages harder

Results are mixed. One page bounced back a little, another didn’t move at all.

I’m wondering if this is just Google messing with SERP layout again, or if my snippets are getting beaten by bigger brands with better branding/trust signals.

Anyone else seeing this on affiliate sites?
Would also be curious what’s actually moving the needle for you lately:
      – title rewrites
      – schema
      – FAQ blocks
      – better intro copy
      – or just fresh content and waiting it out

I’m trying to keep it simple and not overcook it, but CTR is where the easy money usually lives.
