Yeah, I’m with you on that. At this point I don’t even assume there’s a clean pattern anymore, just some mix of timing, crawl weirdness, and whatever they’re fiddling with under the hood. What annoys me is the client side of it. Try telling somebody “your pages are basically the same, but Google decided this one gets to live” and they look at you like you’re making it up. Honestly half the time I feel like the old quality talk is just window dressing after the fact. I’ve had a couple recoveries lately too, but they don’t even feel like real recoveries. More like the system finally noticed the page again after ignoring it for weeks. Then the next…
