Reply To: Google’s little mood swings again?

Technically, from what I’ve seen, yeah, I’m not buying the “nothing changed” line half the time either. I’ve had pages look dead stable in GSC and then traffic still gets tossed around like that for a few days. Usually it’s some query mix shift or Google deciding it wants a different page type for the same intent, not some magical content quality revelation. The annoying part is it never tells you cleanly which one it is. axelrowan’s not wrong about checking impressions/logs, but that still doesn’t explain much when the whole thing just drifts and snaps back for no obvious reason. Google’s been doing this dumb little wobble a lot more lately, or in most cases we’re just noticing it more because the SERPs are such a mess now.
