Yeah, same here. Not just you. Usually when it’s a real wave you can see the pattern pretty fast — account names all over the place, same dumb “thanks for sharing” type post, then the link crap if it sits too long. I’ve had weeks where it’s quiet, then suddenly it’s like somebody flipped a switch. If it’s hitting multiple boards at once, it’s typically one of those scraped-signup/script runs. Annoying part is they always seem to find whatever’s least painful for them, so if your first-post approval is loose or signup is too easy, they’ll keep poking it until you make it annoying enough. Honestly I’d just watch the signup logs for a bit and see if there’s a common route or timing. If it’s all coming in bursts, that usually tells you more than the content does.
