Yeah, I’m seeing that too. Nothing sexy about it, just the usual Google wobble where stable stuff gets tossed around for no obvious reason. I’d check logs and GSC before changing anything, but if crawl patterns and indexing are normal, I’d lean reweighting over “site got hit.” The annoying bit is exactly what you said — junk AI pages can sit there forever while legit pages get shuffled down for a week or two. Makes the whole thing feel pretty random. If it keeps sliding after the next crawl cycle, then in most cases there’s something more specific going on. But “sudden drop after weeks of stability” without any site changes? Yeah, that’s happened to me enough times that I don’t panic anymore. Just annoying as hell.
