Personally, yeah, looks like a wave, not just your place. I’m seeing the same pattern on a couple boards — dumb intro post, then the “nice forum” garbage, then the link dump if nobody nukes it fast enough. Usually means the bots found something soft and are just cycling through accounts. I’d tighten first-post approval for a bit if you haven’t already. Not forever, just long enough to make it annoying for them. Also worth checking if they’re all coming in through the same signup route or time window, because that’s usually where the leak is.
