Reply To: Spam wave hitting my forum again

Realistically, technically, yeah, same garbage here. The “same weird profile links” part is always the tell — it’s not even trying to look human anymore. I’ve had better luck cutting off first-post links and making new accounts sit in a timeout for a bit than messing around with CAPTCHA. Still a pain, but at least it slows the flood down.
