Yeah, same here. The “indexed but dead” thing is getting old fast. What’s been messing with me is the lag between crawl/index and any actual movement. Used to feel like if a page was decent it’d at least get a little test traffic or some wobble. Now it just sits there like Google put it in a drawer and forgot it. Then randomly, days later, it either gets a tiny bump or falls off a cliff for no obvious reason. And honestly I don’t buy the usual “must be your content” reply every time. I’ve seen it on older sites that were stable for ages, not just fresh junk. That’s why imo a lot of this is just Google being weird with eval timing or whatever they’re calling it now. CTR being down tracks too. SERPs are a mess lately. Real pages get shoved down under crap, and then people act surprised traffic’s down. I’m pretty much at the point where I don’t even react to GSC until it’s been sitting there long enough to mean something. Otherwise it’s just noise and stress.
